Deputy Store Managers
Salary between £22,000-£24,000
We are looking to recruit Deputy Store Managers for our Co-operative food convenience stores located in Coventry, Rugby and Nuneaton area.
Your role will be to assist the Store Manager in managing the store. You will inject your own personality and fresh thinking into a business that is recognised for its honesty and integrity.
Successful applicants will be committed, enthusiastic, organised and be able to work as part of a team to deliver the highest standards of customer service.You should have relevant management experience preferably with knowledge of existing food convenience store practices and systems however full training will be provided.
Applicants must be available to work five out of seven days with fully flexibility contracted to 39 hours but also to cover additional hours as the business requires.
You should be fully mobile as you may be required to travel to any store within the trading area.
Part-Time Food Store Supervisors – Coventry
We are currently looking to recruit Part Time Supervisors to work in our Food Stores in the Coventry area.
Previous retail experience is essential and previous supervisory experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent customer service skills, be able to work within a team and on their own initiative. They will have supervisory responsibilities which will include being responsible for cash and the opening and closing of the Store.
The positions are Part Time and will be worked over a seven day trading period so flexibility in working hours is essential.
Temporary Funeral Director – Rugby (Maternity Cover)
We are looking to recruit a Temporary Full Time Funeral Director/Trainee Funeral Director to work at our funeral home in Rugby for approximately 39 weeks from November 2018 to cover Maternity leave.
In addition to the full time hours (39 hours per week) the applicant must participate in the Out of Hours Rota covering evenings and weekends on call, as well as the Saturday mornings on a rota.
We are looking for an individual who is able to work well as part of a team, yet can work on their own initiative. Someone who can deliver when under pressure whilst maintaining a sympathetic manner and being sensitive to the needs of others.
The main duties and responsibilities will include arranging and conducting funerals, computerised Branch administration, dealing with the deceased and other associated tasks.
Candidates must be caring and compassionate with a committed approach to excellent client service. You will also require a mature tactful manner, possess a good telephone manner and be computer literate. A full driving licence is also required.
Funeral Plan Administrator
We are looking to recruit a Pre-Paid Funeral Plan Administrator to be based within our Head Office in Coventry.
The main duties and responsibilities will include pre-paid funeral plan administration, computerised input, financial reconciliation, processing of direct debits and other payments, communicating with clients, liaising with internal and external clients along with other associated administrative tasks.
Candidates must be caring, compassionate and committed to delivering an excellent client experience. The ideal candidate will be a very organized and efficient administration person with a mature and tactful manner, good telephone skills and a high level of computer literacy.
Full training on role specific tasks and the computer system will be given.
Funeral Assistant – Support Services – Coventry (39 hours per week)
We are currently looking to recruit a full time Funeral Assistant to work 39 hours per week at our Funeral Home in Coventry. In addition to the full time hours the applicant must participate in the out of hours rota covering evenings and weekends on call, as well as weekend funerals.
We are looking for an individual who is able to work well as part of a team, yet can work own their own initiative. The ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a sympathetic manner and being sensitive to the needs of others is a prerequisite.
The main duties and responsibilities for the Funeral Assistant will include bringing the deceased into our care from hospitals, nursing homes, private residences and other locations, fitting of the coffins, preparation and cleaning of the vehicles, attendance on the funeral bearing the coffin and other associated tasks.
Candidates must be caring and compassionate with a committed approach to excellent client service. You will also require a mature tactful approach and possess a full driving licence.
Flexibility is essential to this role as you may be required to work at other branches within the Division.
IT Helpdesk Analyst
Do you have a natural customer facing ability, articulate well; have a logical approach to problem solving with an aptitude for IT and experience of EPOS? If so, we may have an opportunity for you to join our IT support team. We are looking to introduce an IT Helpdesk Analyst role to our evolving IT support service, providing 1st/2nd line support to our users across Head Office and our associated Food Stores/Funeral Branches. The role would entail training/development in an IT capacity on the various aspects of desktop/EPOS support, mentored by existing IT team members. The role will be based at our Head Office in Coventry. You may be required to travel to our stores/branches, therefore a clean driving licence and use of your own car is essential for which mileage would be expensed.
Working hours: 08:45am – 4:45pm
